Mark Zuckerberg Builds a Robot
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg likes to do something new every year. He has learned Mandarin. He read two books a month. He met a new person everyday.
Now, he’s going to build an AI, also known as an Artificial Intelligence. Think Jarvis from “Iron Man.”
Zuckerberg shares:
“I’m going to start by exploring what technology is already out there. Then I’ll start teaching it to understand my voice to control everything in our home — music, lights, temperature and so on. I’ll teach it to let friends in by looking at their faces when they ring the doorbell. I’ll teach it to let me know if anything is going on in Max’s room that I need to check on when I’m not with her. On the work side, it’ll help me visualize data in VR to help me build better services and lead my organizations more effectively.”

Anti-Violence Gets Violent
An anti-violence demonstration in Newark, New Jersey got violent. The city is attempting to curb violence.
The demonstration was organized by two anti-violence groups. They wanted to urge Mayor Ras Baraka to put his “quality of life plan” into action to help address violence in the city. At one point, one man put his hands around another’s neck and pushed him to the ground. Organizers and other participants said the skirmish lasted only a few minutes. There were no serious injuries.
Chocolate Lab’s Birthday
Everybody wants their birthday to be special. Having your friends and family acknowledge your day with a pretty cake and have people sing off key. A chocolate lab named Dakota who is super excited that it’s his birthday. He gets a pretty cake and people singing off key.
It’s a celebration to warm your heart on this cold morning.
