Microsoft’s Tay Goes Wrong
Microsoft launched an artificial intelligence (AI) called Tay. The idea was to connect with 18-24 year-olds in order to understand conversational language among young people online.
It didn’t go well.
Twitter users took advantage of the algorithm and basically turned the bot into something awful.

That one was pretty tame. The worst tweets have been deleted.
