Today is Tuesday, October 6, 2015. A Chapel Hill burger is one of the best in the country. October is also a month for a spooky burger at a national chain. There is bad news for cereal lovers. Also, let’s watch a dog drive a car?
Chapel Hill Burger Considered One of the Best
Al’s Burger Shack on Franklin Street has reason to celebrate.
If, for some reason, you choose to not enjoy a local Chapel Hill burger, you may decide to try Burger King’s Black Whopper. All October, in honor of Halloween, the national burger chain is selling a dark version of their signature dish. It uses a lot of food coloring. The results are not always pleasant.
Bad News for Cereal Lovers
Pay attention if you start your morning with a bowl of Cheerio’s. General Mills is recalling 1.8 million boxes of Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios produced at a plant in Lodi, California, saying the cereal is labeled gluten-free but actually contains wheat. The recall affects Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios that were made in July. The Minneapolis company said wheat flour was inadvertently used in a gluten-free oat flour system. The use of wheat flour means the cereals are not gluten-free, and people with conditions like wheat allergies or celiac disease who consume them might suffer an allergic reaction or discomfort.
Daisy Drives Oliver
Daisy the dog loves to drive little boy Oliver all around. Well, not really. The car is motorized, but it is controlled remotely.
