Today is Thursday, October 9, 2015. There was a Facebook marriage and it happened by accident. A best man is man’s best friend. Then, let’s watch some pets yawn.
A Facebook marriage.
Back in 2009, Schuler Benson could not figure out how to log onto Facebook from his mobile phone. But, every time he attempted to log on, he would end up on somebody else’s account.
That person is named Celeste Zendler.
Benson and Zendler did not know each other. They had no connection.
After the issue was resolved, Zendler sent Benson a friend request. They became communicating. That is when they realized that they had a similar sense of humor and various common interests. By 2013, Zendler moved from Colorado to Arkansas to live with Bensen.
Earlier this year, the couple got married. A Facebook marriage. Benson tells the tale on Imgur .
Six years ago today, a glitch in Facebook mobile logged me into the account of a woman I’d never met. We were married this past June.
The Best Man is Man’s Best Friend
Justin Lansford, an Army veteran, married his longtime girlfriend Carol Balmes in Largo, Florida. His best man was not a relative or old childhood friend.
It was Gabe.
Gabe served as Lansford’s therapy dog after returning home from Afghanistan. Lansford was paired with then 2-year-old Gabe, who had recently graduated from the Warrior Canine Connection, which trains dogs to help veterans improve their symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder. Since then, Lansford and Gabe have been inseparable.
Yawning Dogs
These dogs just do not want to leave bed. Enjoy.
