Judge Todd Roper

Judge Todd Roper is the District Court Judge for Chatham and Orange Counties. In his 30-years in Chatham County, Judge Roper has raised three children, coached children’s sports teams, participated in many community organizations, and litigated cases in the State Court of Appeals and the State Supreme Court. Roper has a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and BA from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa where he played football under legendary coach Paul “Bear” Bryant. He received his JD from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham. He “truly believes in taking care of the poor, orphans, widows, and loving my neighbor.
