Stephanie Terry is a community organizer, trainer, and entrepreneur. She was the founding organizer for Justice United in Community Effort and co-founder of Organizing Against Racism Orange County, a Racial Equity Institute Affiliate. Stephanie is the executive director of WEBB Squared, the director of organizing for CORE (Chatham Organizing for Racial Equity) and a consultant for the EmBrace Project-Equity for Moms and Babies. She is the mother of 5 adult children and lives with her husband Michael and son Malachi in Pittsboro, NC.
Karinda Roebuck currently serves as the executive director of Chatham Organizing for Racial Equity (CORE). She’s a midwife by practice and a racial equity consultant by trade. Her professional initiatives aim to expose racism — both within midwifery and by midwives — and she has developed workshops and presentations for health care institutions on reproductive justice and birth equity. Additionally, she has co-developed workshops covering racial equity fundamentals, shifting power, institutional bias, power of perspectives and racial trauma.
