Today is Tuesday, August 9, 2016.  The Olympics used the wrong flag from China.  ECU starts “adulting” counseling program.  Billionaire safe spaces are trending.

Wrong Flag from China

The Chinese flag features five stars.  There is one large star and four smaller ones.

This is the basic design that you see at the Olympics.  But, officials at the games have made a mistake.  The smaller stars, in the real flag, are slightly skewed.  But, in the flag that is raised at the Olympic Games, the stars are straight up.  The error has resulted in a fierce response from Chinese social media users.

ECU Adulting

East Carolina University is starting an “adulting” counseling program.  The idea is to help students learn how to deal with failure and other issues you run into when you grow up.  Officials say that 9,000 counseling appointments were requested by students last year.  That’s an increase of 1,800 appointments in the last two years.
