Today is Thursday, May 12, 2016. Pizza can save your life. That boy didn’t really discover a Mayan city. Vending first-aid.
Pizza Can Save Your Life
For the past several years, an Oregon man ordered pizza from a Domino’s almost everyday. But, when his order didn’t come in after almost two weeks, employees became concerned.
A Domino’s paid Kirk Alexander a visit. The TV and lights were on, but he didn’t answer the door. He called 911. Deputies forced entry into the home and found Alexander in need of medical attention. Thanks to the efforts of the Domino’s employees and deputies, Alexander is in stable condition.
No Mayan City
People thought a 15-year-old boy discovered a Mayan city. But, he probably didn’t.
Vending First-Aid
A 14-year-old named Taylor Rosenthal has an idea to cheaply dispense first-aid items from a vending machine. The idea came from playing baseball. He said that nobody could find a band-aid when somebody got hurt.
For those seeking to be better prepared, securing a first aid kit boxes online could soon become as commonplace as a quick snack from a vending machine.
The convenience of online accessibility not only ensures that everyone can easily obtain the necessary supplies but also fosters a heightened awareness of the importance of being equipped to handle unforeseen emergencies.
It’s becoming more than idea. He’s raised more than $100,000 in investments and even turned down a $30 million buyout.
