This week, Aaron welcomes Micaela Shanyce Bundy, who’s in the cast of “Little Shop of Horrors” at PlayMakers Repertory Company. A classically trained soprano, Bundy’s taking on the villainous role of Audrey II – which is typically played by a man with a deep baritone. (Hardly an insurmountable challenge: “Little Shop” is Bundy’s PlayMakers debut, but she’s already got an impressively varied resume in musical theater.) Bundy discusses what makes “Little Shop” a personal favorite and how PlayMakers is planning to put its own unique twist on a well-known classic.
Click here to buy tickets and get more information about “Little Shop of Horrors,” which runs from April 9-27 at PlayMakers Repertory Company.
