This week, Aaron is joined by John Samuel, who’s written a memoir called “Don’t Ask the Blind Guy for Directions.” The book chronicles Samuel’s journey to success while navigating a diagnosis of Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). That journey took him from Cary to New York, Asia, Africa, Washington – and back to Cary again, where he’s now the co-founder and CEO of Ablr, which helps companies expand inclusion and accessibility for people with disabilities. John’s own story is a testament to Ablr’s mission: people with disabilities can be wildly successful, once stigmas are removed and accessibility is guaranteed – and businesses can maximize their talent level by disregarding those stigmas and guaranteeing that access.
