This week, Aaron welcomes Perry Owen Wright and Jess Klein, local musicians who have recently released new albums. Wright’s “Buried Utilities,” quietly released in March, was his first new music since the mid-2000’s, when he led the popular band The Prayers and Tears of Arthur Digby Sellers. Klein hasn’t had that long a gap between albums, but her new album “Dreaming Aloud” is her first full-length album in three years. Wright and Klein both stopped by 97.9 The Hill studios for Live & Local, to discuss their respective albums and perform a few songs live – and for this week’s “Talking Culture,” Aaron re-airs two of those performances: Wright’s “Certified Mail” and Klein’s “I Want To Be Love.”
