Today is Monday, August 15, 2016. Nobody wants to win a newspaper. Share your non-belief on a license plate. Don’t play Pokemon Go in Iran.
No Newspaper Taker
A man wanted to give away his newspaper in Vermont. So, he decided to start an essay contest. Write an essay and pay $175 and you could win control of the Hardwick Gazette.
The problem is that almost nobody has signed up. So, the deadline has been pushed back by 40 days. They may extend the deadline again or just cancel the contest.
Atheist License
After a lawsuit, a new Jersey woman will be able to share her disbelief on a license plate. Shannon Morgan filed a lawsuit in 2014 because she wanted “8THEIST” on her plate. That one wasn’t approved, but she was allowed to have “BAPTIST.”
Morgan will receive $75,000 and the “8THEIST” plate.
Pokemon Go in Iran
Don’t play Pokemon Go in Iran. The country has banned the game. Officials say the game makers did not get government permission to operate in the country. They’re also concerned about security.
