Katie Stember and Aspen Gutgsell are Thursday’s Hometown Heroes.

Katie and Aspen just started an agency called “Heeling Flowers.”  The idea is that recycled flowers just make people feel better.  They take flowers that have been used at a special event, like a wedding.  Then, they take those flowers to patients at UNC hospitals.
