This week’s Hometown Heroes, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Victoria and Vianna Fornville.
Victoria and Vianna are two sisters who earned major honors separately almost at the same time! Victoria was named the state-wide E-Learning Advisor of the Year by the NC Virtual Public School in her first year on the job at Chapel Hill High School. Victoria was nominated by her colleagues for her work, going above and beyond to support her students and help them succeed.
Vianna is a rising junior at Chapel Hill High and received the Pauli Murray Youth Award for her commitment to social justice for her work with Jackson Center, the local NAACP, and the school district’s Youth Leadership Institute, including her work with Get Out the Vote.
