This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Patrick Sullivan!
Sullivan is the director of UNC’s Suicide Prevention Institute, and works to understand how and why suicidal ideation begins, and what can be done to help people struggling. A statewide partnership effort to focus on suicide prevention has brought together many important resources in North Carolina, and Sullivan’s research and understanding is critical to this ongoing, lifesaving, work.
