This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by the O. Max Gardner Foundation, is Mike Naglich.
Naglich is a retired nurse with a long career of heroic efforts around the world and his latest is a trip to Ukraine to deliver supplies for residents in the war zone. He’s making the trip with a UK-based nonprofit Convoy4Ukraine, which has been active since the war began. Naglich will be bringing a refurbished ambulance he’s purchased with own funds. Convoy4Ukraine try to pack each convoy delivery with generators, medical supplies, food, and more for residents.
Naglich started a gofundme to help offset the cost of the ambulance and you can donate here.
