This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Kimberly Zirkle.

Zirkle is a member of the Chapel Hill Service League and for the last 9 years has helped run one of their most signature events, Christmas House. Christmas House gives clothes, toys, coats, and shoes to around 800 local kids every year. In the 9 years that Zirkle has been heading Christmas House, over 7,000 kids have benefitted. It takes around 200 volunteers and a full year’s planning to put on Christmas House and even during COVID, Zirkle found a way to keep it going and make it a drive through.
