This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Kim Jeffs.

Jeffs is a local business owner who has been working to lift up women in our community, particularly in business. She is the owner of Soma and Soul, which provides leadership training for development for women. But it’s not just what she does with Soma and Soul that makes her a Hometown Hero. She also launched the Rise Embodied Leadership Summit for Women last year and it is coming back this March for its second year. Along with the summit, Jeffs also hosts a local lunch series and is the co-leader of Chapel Hill-Carrboro Women’s Connect.
