This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Josh Gurlitz.
Gurlitz came out of retirement to assist EMPOWERment Inc. with the building of the P.E.A.C.H. Apartment Complex. He’s a longtime architect who gave countless hours to design the building and shepherd to completion. His touches on the complex include making each first floor unit handicap accessible. Not only are we honoring his work on the P.E.A.C.H. Apartment Complex, he’s also served on the board of the Carol Woods Retirement Center and you can see his work at another Orange County nonprofit building, the new center for the Bouncing Bulldogs jump rope team.
