This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Jesus Avendaño.
Avendaño is a Chapel Hill Native that has been using his position as marketing and communications director for Gonzalez Painters & Contractors to give back to our town. As part of the marketing strategy on the job, Gonzalez invests in local non-profits and sponsors local programs, including underwriting PORCH’s Food for Schools Program, supporting public art, and more. On top of his work on the job, Jesus also volunteers with many of the organizations he works with in his personal time.
