This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Jahara Davis.
Davis is an English teacher at Hillside High School and was the Teacher of the Year in 2023. Davis has inspired and brought out the best in many of her students by pouring her time and energy into them and supporting them in every way she can even after they’ve left her classroom. While she is leaving Hillside this year to become a principal, her impact will continue to be felt by anyone who took her class for years to come.
