This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Greg Georges!
Georges is a long-time neighbor in our community and a local woodworker who recently spent time mentoring kids and running workshops to teach woodworking skills and bring people together to create something and work with their hands.
“He’s been great at keeping the neighborhood together,” said Ruth Morgan, a friend and neighbor who nominated Greg as a Hometown Hero. “… He checks on people, makes sure they’re okay, goes around on his bike with his husky … Greg is really, all around, just a great person.”
