This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by O. Max Gardner Foundation, is Charles DeBose.
DeBose’s work supports not just one nonprofit but many. He serves as the director of operations for the Extraordinary Thrift Store where he does many different things. He also works closely with every nonprofit with offices in the Missions on Main nonprofit hub next door to the Extraordinary Thrift Store and he’s also the board chair of the SKJAJA Fund, a nonprofit that removes financial and other barriers for local students to take part in extracurricular activities.
