This month on Goldfish Swim School‘s Water Safety Patrol, listen to a conversation with Jon Klein, retired family physician and President of Swim for Charlie!
“Swim for Charlie is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that has a mission to equip children with life-saving water safety skills by providing a high quality water safety program to second grade North Carolina students,” said Klein. “… There is an almost 90% decrease in drowning risk if children learn how to swim, so we have a public health problem and we have a proven public health treatment for this problem.”
Goldfish Swim School focuses on staying safe in the water with flexible, fun lessons, emphasizing confidence-building and water safety in Goldfish Swim School’s shiver-free pool, located in the heart of Chapel Hill. For more information about Goldfish’s programs, click here.
