Exploring Your Creative Genius: Episode 97

In the most recent episode I continued sharing Creatively Entrepreneurial concepts and behaviors to help you build your own understanding of how you want to be Creative and Entrepreneurial.

I spent a bit of time on not just Listening, but giving your undivided attention to Listen Generously.

Then I suggested this as the most productive way to Debate a friend or associate: to Listen to the very best of what they have to say, to be Generous with your understanding of it, and to try to speak from that Generous and Appreciative place.

Perhaps you’ll realize the goal of a Debate shouldn’t be to convince the other that they are wrong and you are right but rather, by leveraging each others’ ideas, finding the most useful expression or point of view from Both of what you are contending.

I also talked about Providing as a Creatively Entrepreneurial behavior. I am struck right now by how many folks around me are working hard at Providing supplied for the folks in need in and around Asheville. Fundamentally Creative, yeah?  Oxford Dictionary offers that Providing is not just sharing goods or services, but rather sharing the particular supplies folks need. In all situations, what a marvelous Creative energy.

“Exploring Your Creative Genius” takes an expansive view on what it means to be creative and entrepreneurial in an ongoing conversation led by Carl Nordgren — entrepreneur, novelist, and lifelong student with decades of experience growing his own creative capacity and assisting others to do the same in exciting new ways!
