‘What if’ questions are very useful in the creative process, not just for writers.
They help you challenge assumptions: hypothetical questions invite your brain to let go of normal rules and hidden biases. Like, what if you could only use your voice to get your work done today? Or what if gravity didn’t work for 5 minutes each day?
They can connect distinct ideas,allowing your mind to relate one concept with another to form new thoughts.
