La Residence

La Residence, a well-received local restaurant located on 202 West Rosemary Street, continues to undergo repairs due to a fire that occurred on June 12 in 2016. Areas of the restaurant unaffected from the damage will also receive notable renovations. Plans to update the patio portion of the restaurant are underway and talk of updating the main signage of the establishment has been confirmed by John Gualtieri, the operations manager of La Residence.

Might as Well

Might as Well, a new local sports bar, opened its doors late last month on January, 27 and can be found on 207 West Franklin Street where Fitzgerald’s Irish Pub once stood. Fitzgerald’s management announced its closure on January, 4 and subsequently concluded operations at its Greenville location on January, 5.

Chatham Home

Chatham Home continues to expand its collection of eclectic and exciting home décor. Rhonda Brand and Kim Pollard, owners of the storefront, have traveled across the state in search of fine repurposed furnishings, returning with a wide assortment of reasonably priced treasures. Chatham Home is located on 115 Hillsboro Street in Pittsboro. Store hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Lotsa Pizza

This fast growing food chain continues to pick up momentum and potential mouths to feed as the new restaurant is announced to open in Chapel Hill, spring 2017. Lotsa started in Townson., West Virginia last year, and continues to quickly expand. Currently, the pizzeria has five restaurants spread across Maryland, Indiana, Wisconsin and the aforementioned West Virginia.

Captain Ponchos

Captain Ponchos, an eatery that provides mouthwatering Mexican cuisine, has a new location: 1408 E Franklin Street. Captain Ponchos uses fresh ingredients supplied from local farmers to craft delicious traditional Mexican delicacies. Operational hours are from 11 a.m.to 9 p.m.
