Emily from Independent Animal Rescue is a painter, and so she named the three orphaned cats she’s fostering after her favorite artists. Our visitor this morning was Picasso, and we can see why he got that name: he’s a big cat with an even bigger personality! As soon as he arrived at the station, that personality was on full display; he investigated every corner, and introduced himself to everyone. Picasso is the opposite of shy, taking instantly to new people and animals. This beautiful red-and-white cat is fully grown, but he’s still a kitten at heart. If you’re looking for a cat that could fit right in with a new family, Picasso is a perfect match. You can meet him at Emily’s studio in Chapel Hill (call 919-942-2607 to make an appointment), or check him out on IAR’s website.
