Well, seven miracle puppies, really. But everyone at WCHL was thoroughly charmed by the two who visited us, Milam and her brother Fagan. Their very pregnant stray mother Bonny had evaded capture for weeks before finally giving birth near an industrial park on December 1st. The full litter was brought to Independent Animal Rescue to be fostered, and now they’re almost old enough to be adopted.
The seven lab mix puppies break down into three black, two chocolate, and two beige. Milam is an adorable beige girl, with a dark brown snout and white chest. She’s very affectionate and cuddly. Fagan is a jet-black charmer, and he has stylish white streaks on his nose, chest and paws.
But they’re only the tip of the puppy iceberg (so to speak). Milam and Fagan’s brothers and sisters are all just as cute, and just as much in need of homes. That’s why now is the time to get in touch with Independent Animal Rescue, either through their website or by phone at 919-403-2221. Make an appointment to meet all seven, and then choose one (if you can!) to bring home. With your loving care, they can grow up in a much better place than where they were born. Why not kick off the new year with a new addition to your family?
