C-14-322_2Meg doesn’t let her disability get in the way of enjoying life! This sleek grey stunner of a cat was rescued with a badly broken rear leg, and recently had it amputated. But given that she’s still so young (just six months old), that challenge has barely slowed her down. She runs and plays with other cats as well as she ever did.

And that playful energy might just be her trademark. She loves her toys, and will chase them for hours on end. She gets along perfectly with other animals, and with adults of all ages. Best of all, she enjoys nothing better than curling up in a welcoming lap.

Meg doesn’t need any special treatment, but she does need a new home. You can call the good folks of Independent Animal Rescue at 919-403-2221 or email them to meet Meg and bring her into your family!
