Fingerpaint is only four months old, but she’s already seen it all. This striking white pit bull puppy and her siblings came from a cruelty situation, and she showed up at Paws4Ever deaf and with a broken tail. But this survivor hasn’t let her early disadvantages get in her way: she is as loving and open as a puppy could be.

IMG_0523Of course, training a dog that can’t hear is a little different from one that can – you have to use your hands more! But in her short time at the shelter, this fast learner has picked up lots of hand signals. She’s a very quick study, and her disability makes her even more attentive to her owner. She also barks much less than most dogs.

Above all, Fingerpaint is an incredibly sweet and considerate dog. She’ll grow up big – probably close to 60 pounds – but her kind nature shouldn’t change when her size does. She gets along great with other dogs and with kids, and she’d be a great addition to a family that will love her both for her advantages and her disadvantages. Make some time to meet this great puppy today at Paws4Ever!
