This week on Adopt-A-Pet, meet Monkey from Independent Animal Rescue! Here’s what IAR has to say about this sweet dog that had a ball in the 97.9 The Hill studio introducing herself to a bunch of new people, both in-person and on the radio!
Meet Monkey (who also answers to Monk, Mon Qui Qui, Monker, or Moo!). She has a milk chocolate coat, one adorably floppy ear, such lovely jowls, white socks on all four paws, white chest markings, and the tiniest dip of white on the very tip of her tail.
Monkey is a sweet, wiggly girl, who generally just wants to be with her people. She also enjoys the company of other dogs (after proper introductions, of course). She and her foster brother (a 3-yo neutered male pit mix) coexist well.
Because she wants to chase squirrels and other animals of that size, she needs a home without cats.
Monkey is a strong girl, and given her jumpy tendencies and exuberant personality, a home without children under 10 is necessary.
Oh! And light sleepers need not apply. This girl snores like a freight train!
