This week on Adopt-A-Pet, meet Boogie, from The Goathouse Refuge!
Boogie is a two-year-old orange tabby, and a playful little fellow! He’s plenty calm and collected, comfortable in new situations — he was right at home in the 97.9 The Hill studio! He’s extremely responsive to pets and affection, a complete sweetheart, and has plenty of kitten energy he’d love to burn off with a few of his favorite toys and a little bit of attention! Here’s what the Goathouse has to say about this little guy:
Boogie is a handsome orange tabby cat who was originally adopted as a kitten from the Union County Animal Shelter in 2020, and then sadly returned by the same family over a little over a year later because he was “too rough with the kids.” Luckily for Boogie, he found his way to the Goathouse, where the staff immediately recognized he is just an energetic, playful young cat in need of companionship and attention. Boogie is a very sweet cat, but like all young adult cats, he needs plenty of appropriate outlets to channel all that energy, ideally through play and positive interactions with his caretakers. We hope you’ll come meet Boogie and consider giving him the second chance that he deserves!
