Today, Victor has the most Canadian trend ever: a study finding that maple trees in urban centers get much of their water from leaky underground pipes. Aaron takes this as cause for extreme optimism: even when human beings go out of their way to annihilate the landscape, nature will always triumph in the end. (Either that, or some shady folks are funding this study to try to convince people not to bother fixing their leaky pipes. One or the other.)
