Trending today: the spectacular rise of Uncrustables, the gimmicky packaged lunch item that’s now nearly a billion-dollar industry. Apparently there are two facilities somewhere (with a third on the way) that only manufacture Uncrustables – which implies that there are a couple of communities out there for which Uncrustables are a major part of the local economy. Must be a heck of a town.
