Trending today: Victor takes a dive into national food self-sufficiency rates. In other words: what percentage of a nation’s food is imported, and what percentage is home-grown? The US has lots of self-sufficiency, Japan less so – and in the middle is the UK, which could be more self-sufficient than they are but choose not to be. (Typical Brits, am I right?)
