Trending today: Victor takes a deep dive into homebuilding trends, including the still-rising number of bedrooms in the average home. What’s not rising, though, is the number of bathrooms: we hit “peak bathroom” sometime around 2015, and the average number of bathrooms in new homes has been dropping slightly ever since. (But there’s one thing we can all agree on: basements. Basements are great. We need more of those.)
