Trending today: “the cow.” What is “the cow”? It’s the weird name that scientists have attached to an unusually flat explosion they’ve observed in space – trending especially because it bears a striking resemblance to that scene in “Star Wars” when the Death Star explodes. Also trending: a village in Iceland whose residents routinely throw puffins off a cliff into the ocean – but don’t worry, it’s to help the puffins, not hurt them. Honest.
