Trending today: Victor takes a deep dive into the 35 foreign-language songs that have topped the Billboard Hot 100. Twenty-three of those have come since 2012, including six this year alone – all in either Spanish or Korean. Earlier top-charting hits have represented several other languages, though, including Italian (Volare), German (99 Luftballons), and Japanese. (Aaron guesses that one right, as it turns out: 1963’s Sukiyaki.)
