Trending today: a push to breed plants that deliberately draw metals from the earth, to make them easier to extract. (The metals, that is.) Unfortunately that won’t be great for the plants long-term, though – shades of Douglas Adams, Aaron says. (Or is it Terry Pratchett? No, it was Adams the whole time.)
