Every Wednesday morning, Chapel Hill Public Library director Susan Brown joins 97.9 The Hill’s Aaron Keck for “Talking Books,” a weekly segment of book recommendations, of all genres and for all ages. (Susan also heads up Chapel Hill’s Community Arts and Culture department, so they’ll often talk about upcoming festivals and other cultural events as well.)

This week, Aaron and Susan are joined by Lantern Restaurant owner Andrea Reusing, who just opened the Garden Spot pop-up in the Lantern’s back lot. The Garden Spot is open Fridays and Saturdays from 4-8 p.m., featuring music, artisans, and small food entrepreneurs. (And yes, we also recommend books. We haven’t forgotten!)
