Susan and Aaron are joined by Cornell Watson, the artist behind the “Tarred Healing” exhibit that’s on display at the library starting this week.

“Tarred Healing” is the photography exhibition about Chapel Hill’s Black history, past and present, that was set to be displayed at UNC’s Stone Center earlier this year. Those plans fell through – making the national news in the process – but the library has stepped in to host the exhibition with a boost from the Chapel Hill-Carrboro NAACP, which is funding the display of some of the photos.

The exhibit will be on display from April 30-June 30, beginning with an opening reception on April 30 from 7-9 p.m.
