This month marks the 60th anniversary of the writing of Dr. Martin Luther King’s famous “Letter from Birmingham Jail.” This Sunday, April 16, the Chapel Hill Public Library is hosting a public reading of the letter, starting at 3:30 p.m., with an introductory talk by UNC historian William Sturkey.

William Sturkey joined Aaron on 97-9 The Hill to discuss the event, the significance of the “Letter” in 1963, and its continued relevance today.
