A new exhibition is open now at the Ackland Art Museum: “Radical Clay: Contemporary Women Artists from Japan.” Featuring dazzling ceramic art from three dozen modern artists, it’s a showstopping exhibit that the Chicago Tribune recent described as “work that must be seen to be believed.” Now down from Chicago, “Radical Clay” will be on display at the Ackland through August 31.

Aaron welcomes Japanese ceramics expert Joe Earle (author of the “Radical Clay” catalog) to discuss the exhibit – including his favorite individual pieces as well as the overall history of contemporary Japanese ceramic art.
