Want to learn more about local government? Saturday, June 28, is Open Chapel Hill Day – a town-wide open house with facility tours, hands-on activities, and a chance to meet town staff. Seven Chapel Hill locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Town Hall, the public library, the police headquarters on MLK Boulevard, Fire Station no. 4 on Weaver Dairy Road Extension, Chapel Hill Transit and Public Works on Millhouse Road, and the Chapel Hill Community Center on S. Estes Drive. Activities include a “bike blender” at Town Hall, archery at the Community Center, and a “critter booth” at Public Works – among many others.
Aaron welcomed Chapel Hill’s Susan Brown and Rebecca Buzzard to the studio to promote Open Chapel Hill Day and invite everyone to come check it out on Saturday.
