Do you care about Chapel Hill, and do you love writing poetry? If so, you’re invited to be a part of an exciting new project called “Talk of the Town: Chapel Hill Mixtape,” a collaboration between the town and UNC’s Music Department. Write an original poem about Chapel Hill’s past, present, or future, submit it online – and if you’re chosen, you’ll get the chance to workshop that poem with Chapel Hill poet laureate Donovan Livingston, and then record it in a studio at UNC to be released in 2026 as part of a community mixtape.
