Aaron chats with UNC psychologist Kurt Gray, director of UNC’s Center for the Science of Moral Understanding, whose new book is “Outraged: Why We Fight About Morality and Politics and How to Find Common Ground.” They discuss the science behind our increasing political polarization – including some surprisingly positive findings about crime and safety, and why that might actually make it harder for us to get along – and what we can do, with others and within ourselves, to try to move past that polarization.
Visit KurtJGray.com for more on Gray’s research and the book, which will be released in January.
