Aaron welcomes Joe Welsh, a local resident who’s working with a pair of acclaimed game designers to develop a new family board game called “Making Monsters.” The game is set to launch in the coming weeks and it’s getting rave reviews, but the story doesn’t stop there: Welsh worked on the game while simultaneously fighting a rare and life-threatening form of cancer, and he’s also using the opportunity to send messages of hope and support to fellow travelers on the cancer journey – and to push for greater awareness and more funding for cancer research and treatment.
