Thursday, October 30, Chatham Literacy is hosting its annual “Fall For Literacy Luncheon,” raising money for its yearlong efforts to promote literacy in our community. This year’s event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chatham Agriculture & Conference Center, with local authors Steven Petrow and Jill McCorkle discussing Petrow’s new book “The Joy You Make.” (Visit ChathamLiteracy.org for tickets and more information.)
Steven Petrow and Chatham Literacy’s Jane Ann Mallon join Aaron to discuss the book, the greater issue, and Thursday’s event in Pittsboro.
