UNC’s Board of Governors recently approved a new Bachelor’s of Social Work degree program at UNC-Chapel Hill, set to launch in fall 2027. The program will welcome a cohort of 30 students that year, expanding to 75 by the end of the decade – a significant move by the university to help address a statewide and nationwide shortage of social workers.
Visit the home page of UNC’s School of Social Work.
To discuss the move, Aaron welcomes Amy Levine, a clinical assistant professor of social work and associate dean of undergraduate education.
